Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 October 2026

KittyLock is a free password manager for the Chrome browser. By installing the extension or using this site, you accept these terms.

Use

You may use the extension to manage your own sign-in data. You may not use it to access someone else’s accounts without permission, to spread harmful software, or to bypass the security measures of other services.

Your key

The master password is yours. We do not store it and we cannot restore it. Quick unlock uses the first 4 characters of that password. There is no separate PIN. If you do not use those characters, unlock with the full master password. You are responsible for keeping the master password safe.

Google Drive

Sync uses your Google account and the Google Drive API. The encrypted vault is stored only in the AppData folder of your account, not on a KittyLock server. Your relationship with Google is governed by Google’s terms. KittyLock is not affiliated with Google.

The Chrome extension is available today. Support for other browsers and platforms is in development and will be published when it is ready. The same Drive file is meant for those upcoming clients.

Free use

KittyLock is free to use, with no subscription and no hidden fees. We do not charge for space on your Google Drive.

Liability

KittyLock is a free tool. We work to keep it reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or that it will fit every particular purpose. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss caused by a forgotten master password or by Google Drive being unavailable.

Changes

We may update these terms. The text with the date at the top of this page applies. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
